Core Beliefs and Values of D.E.C.I.D.E.

Writer: Decide ManDecide Man

Due to the nature of society, social media, and the media in general, we here at D.E.C.I.D.E. have done a risk evaluation and have determined that it would be wise to publicly declare our core beliefs and values. This is being done in response to those people who would view us as “conspiracy theorists” or “part of the machine” or other such views. First off, understand we are comprised of (at the time of this writing) three individuals. Each of us has our own area of expertise, and we often discuss and disagree upon certain viewpoints. This is the reason many of our articles have the D.E.C.I.D.E. seal. We want you to know that we do not always agree on what the others say, as well as knowing how certain we are of what information we are giving to you the reader.

The purpose of our website is specifically “to publicly share and document our ideas and findings, in hopes that we can bring a better understanding on subjects in our world that may not be complete, or even correct.”. This in no way means that we are right in our views, or that our findings are accurate. Research is a process, and we use the scientific method to ferret out the truth, even if we do not agree with that truth.

We will often argue against current touted beliefs in each of the areas we do research in. This is not to demean or lessen the beliefs, but rather to take an alternative view of the findings that are presented to us, and show our own findings and what these combined mean to us. In many of these cases our findings will not mesh into the current structure, and we are forced to look at the validity of both the current belief and understanding as well as our own belief and understanding, both of which we will try to present.

We are not conspiracy theorists. We do not believe anybody is trying to misinform people, or keeping any knowledge away from people. What we believe is that, for the areas we do research in, the general community has become too linear and relaxed. There are far too many people who blindly accept what they are told because a big name of that community said it was a “big discovery” s/he made. This is not an attack on them, but rather is an attack on the complacency that has brought us to this point. Research is about testing and discovering new truths, challenging old beliefs with new facts that become available, and presenting evidence. We readily accept that some of what we write will not be accepted into these communities, and that some of our findings may in all fact be wrong.

We ask that our readers read our articles and consider the validity of what is being said. That they need to challenge what they are taught, so they can fully understand what is presented to them. To question what is being said, and test for themselves so they can find the truth.

A quote often said when we are together is: “I will give you an answer. It may not be the right answer, it may not be the answer you want to hear, but it will be an answer nonetheless.” We strongly believe people should follow this quote, not so they can seem like a know-it-all… but with the understanding that saying “I don’t know” is a valid answer to any question. We hope that people take that “I don’t know” and look into discovering the answer on their own. In ending, we are here to educate and entertain. We know some of what we say is a bit off the wall and far fetched. All we ask is to take what we present to you with a grain of salt, to test things for yourself and come to your own conclusions. After all, it is up to you to D.E.C.I.D.E.
